Hayley Maitland

Hayley Maitland is a British-American writer, editor, and consultant based in London and, whenever possible, Rome.

She is currently a contributing editor at British Vogue, where she spent the first decade of her career, latterly as news and features editor, publishing cover interviews, trend stories, and global exclusives across the magazine and website.

She now writes fiction, long-form profiles, reported features, and essays for Vogue and elsewhere, while taking on select ghostwriting projects. Previous collaborators include Oscar winners, supermodels, Olympians, and members of the Royal Household.

In addition to her editorial work, Hayley hosts salons, panels, and events, and consults for luxury brands, advising on everything from digital strategy to brand positioning.
